One of the peculiar features of RaikowskiТs solo activities is the demonstration of the traditional for Siberia, Tibet and a number of other regions practices of guttural singing. But being transferred onto European УstagesФ and placed into a different cultural context such practices, characterised by ecstatic forms of representations (shamanism) and expressive actionism, bring forth a certain form of ethno-poetics. RaikowskiТs productions obtain certain specificity when the author places innovative technological devices on the general corporal-speech background (techno-samples, noises, voices, nature sounds and others). Since 1992, Raikowski has been a member of the Other Media Artist Association (SASI), International Society of Contemporary Music (Polish section). He is the author of a number of articles on the issues of theory and history of contemporary art for the magazine УFormatФ (Poland), and also of a number of programs about contemporary music on the Radio Wroclaw (Wroclaw). He is a laureate of various grant contests, including such as Fundacija im Stefana Batorego, Fundacja Kulturi (Poland), Akademie der Künste (Germany).
